I really really really hope you get feeling better really really really soon!!!
Has anyone suggested that this might be allergies? A friend of mine had this sore throat and horrendous cough that just went on and on and it turned out that it was some sort of pollen allergy (she got this diagnosis from a doctor, who said she'd seen quite a bit of it this Spring/Summer). Took several weeks for the antihistimines or whatever they are to kick in, but they finally did...and she tested this by stopping them and the sore throat returned...she is now a believer. Just a thought and wanted to share it with you. Hoping that you can get feeling really well really soon.

thanks anonymom!! i hadn't thought of that... but, lately my allergies have been kinda nasty... are antihistimines something that one must get from a doctor or can you just buy them at the drugstore?? i am willing to try anything at this point... thanks for the suggestion!!
